June 1, 1999 The meeting of the Planning Commission of Franklin Township, held in the Township office, was called to order at 2005 hours. Present were Joe Szymanowicz, Mike Pontore, Hugh Crandall, Ralph Breiding, Calvin and Lauren Lydic, Marilyn and Bob Stanley. MINUTES Breiding moved to approve the minutes of 4/6/99 as presented. Pontore seconded. Carried. No quorum for the 5/4/99 meeting. VISITORS/PUBLIC COMMENT Marilyn and Bob Stanley Sketch Plan - the sketch showed that the Stanleys plan to sell a parcel with the existing house and barn with proposed frontage of 300 ft. at 7767 Crane Road. Discussion on flag lots and how best to subdivide the remaining property to make three lots for future use by their children. They will build a new house on an adjoining parcel with 20 acres. Szymanowicz - the minimum right-of-way is 50 feet. To get the road right-of- way, the existing house must be 75 feet from the center of the right-of-way. Crandall - in order to put the right-of-way in, the buildings must be 75 feet from the center of the right-of-way. In order to sell off without a rear lot, the strip must be 250 feet not the 100 feet. You can not build in the 100-foot strip. You must build where it opens up in the rear. Szymanowicz moved to accept the Stanley sketch plan as presented with the restrictions on set backs for the right-of-way (75' from the center of the right-of- way). Crandall seconded. Carried. Lauren and Calvin Lydic Mylar - the Lydic brothers are dividing a 38 acre parcel on Clair Wright Road. Calvin's parcel A at 8138 Clair Wright will have 717 ft. frontage with 19.19 acres. Lauren's parcel B at 8184 Clair Wright will have 880 ft. frontage with 19.19 acres. Pontore moved to accept the Lydic Mylar as presented. Szymanowicz seconded. Carried. Mylar was signed. The Lydics and Stanleys left the meeting at 2030 hours. Mary Gnagi Mylar - two identical Mylars were presented showing the reconfiguration of the Gnagi property, 9897 Shadduck Road. Lot A has 836.15 ft. of frontage with 33.382 acres fronting on West Stancliff Road and will become an integral part of the land of Ken and Mary Gnagi, 9980 Fry Road. Lot B has 530.17 ft. of frontage on Fry Road with 7.524 acres and will become an integral part of the land of Ralph and Shirley Parker, 9954 Fry Road. Ken Gnagi and Shirley Parker are Mrs. Gnagi's son and daughter. Pontore moved to accept the Gnagi Mylars as presented. Crandall seconded. Carried. Mylars were signed. Crandall - there are no houses on the parcels being conveyed. OLD BUSINESS None. NEW BUSINESS Adopt Erie County Subdivision Ordinance - members were given a copy of the new Erie County Subdivision to review and give their opinion on. Dennis Howard Septic Module - Mr. Howard is putting in a septic system on the former Jake Weigel property on Rt. 98. Members saw no problem with the module. Cell Tower on Lesuer Farm - plans for a Sprint cell tower on the Dentcsil Le Suer farm, 5810 Old State Road, were reviewed. Tower will be constructed in the field at the corner of I-79 and Old State.
