May 4--Concrete arrives to pour safety walls

May 4--Pouring safety walls on all four corners of the bridge

May 23--Abutments being backfilled. Planning underway to remove old bridge abutment still in creek.

May 25--Upsteam facia beam being installed. Rebar is installed to provide reinforcement for parapet wall.

May 25--Placement of first beam must be precise. The six following beams are placed based on the first.

May 25--First beam in place. Bridge begins to look like a bridge.

May 25--Second beam being moved into place.

May 25--Each beam's placement is inspected by company officials and the Township's inspector.

May 25--Each beam sets on rubber pads rather than cement on cement. A pin is inserted in each to hold it down. A little duct tape is always helpful.
